Formula 1:
Equal parts 8S +10 Volume Generator
Formula 2:
Equal parts 9S + 10 Volume Generator
Formula 3:
Mix 1oz. 10S, 1/2oz. Violet additive & 1 ½ oz. 10 Volume Generator
Formula 4:
Chromashine Viva Violet (Applied at the shampoo bowl)
**Pre-lighten hair with CHI Blondest Blonde to a level 10.
Step 1:
Spray hair with CHI Keratin Mist before color application to even out hair porosity.
Step 2:
Start by applying Formula 1 to root area ONLY to create shadow root.
Step 3:
Starting at the nape, take a small section and weave leaving out the hair closest to the nape. The weaved section will be foiled with Formula 2. Repeat technique on the next section with Formula 3 and continue working until full head is completed, alternating with Formula 2 & 3.
Step 4:
Process at room temperature for 30 minutes.
**Lastly emulsify, rinse thoroughly, Apply Formula 4 to roots ONLY for 10- 15 mins. Shampoo and color lock to lock in color.
Before Sectioning:
Add Silk Therapy cutting agent
Sectioning Step 1:
Section the fringe from apex to the end of each eyebrow.
Step 1:
Section crown area.
Step 3:
Part behind the ear on each side, creating two more sections. All remaining hair left out will be the 5th section.
Cutting Step 1:
Cut section 5 to desired length.
Step 2:
Release fringe section and point cut slightly longer than desired length. (You will recut fringe when dry.)
Step 3:
Release crown section and take a guide from the fringe, bring hair away from the head at a 90 degree angle and point cut through the rest of the section.
Step 4:
Release one side, bring upwards and take a guide from the crown and point cut. Repeat on the other side.
Step 5:
Blow dry and flat iron using your choice of CHI tools.
Step 6:
Dry Cutting: take fine sections at the nape and use texturizing shears to create movement and texture.
