About Bradley Tuggle

International educator and platform artist for Farouk Systems, Bradley Tuggle was introduced to the professional beauty profession at a very young age by his grandmother who owned a salon. Deeply inspired, Bradley perfected his talents at the Sassoon Academy before opening BOHO Salon in North Carolina. A firm believer in education, Bradley is also a North Carolina State Board of Cosmetic Arts licensed Teacher and Instructor. His creativity and vision have earned him editorial pages in major beauty publications.  As one of the youngest main stage artists at industry shows and events, Bradley is a platform veteran with a rock and roll vibe that engages audiences with his “learn the rules to break the rules” approach to cutting, styling and business building. Bradley’s passion for teaching and hairdressing has taken him across the country and around the world.

About Arthuro Gray

Arthuro Gray has been a Salon professional for almost 30 years.  Class and distinction is his strength as an artist. Arthuro has excelled in multiple platforms such as hair cutting, hair coloring as well as styling.  Lead Artist for Miss Teen USA, Miss USA as well as Miss Universe representing Farouk Systems since 2005. 

As a Platform Artist and Educator, his passion exudes sharing color, styling, tips and tricks to help salon professionals grow to the next level.  Celebrity styling can also be seen as a part of the History of this Artist.  Arthuro’s quote for this season of artistry is , continue to be the unique artist you are , but never establish that place as a resting position, “challenge yourself to always be a better you “!

About Vernell Hooker:

Vernell Hooker graduated for Brookhaven High School in 1989, his education continued with the completion of a Bachelor’s Degree and a M.B.A. from Mississippi State University in Starkville, Mississippi.

Entering Corporate America and working several years in banking and finance, he ended up being an auditor for the number one retailer in the world, Wal-Mart.

Before leaving corporate and having a feeling of not fulfilling his passion, he left corporate and started cosmetology school at Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Wesson, Mississippi in 2001.  It was there he learned the real meaning of passion.  Eight months after the receiving a Cosmetology License, Antecho Salon was established in Brookhaven, Mississippi.  It has been a dream come true by owning the salon.  Antecho is Hebrew meaning “devoted till the end” and for almost 10 years this has been a complete devotion on his part.

In 2002, he joined the Farouk Systems team. Vernell started as an educator, then Sales and Educational Consultant, Executive Master Level Educator and now a member of the Creative Artistic Team.  Farouk Systems known as the “CHI iron” company has afforded many opportunities. He has served as a stylist for the Miss Universe Pageant participants and many trips all over the world including the Holy Land and Bangkok, Thailand.

While continuing this wonderful life in the hair industry, he decided to embark on another journey and complete a doctorate in Education, next year.  “I think I’m here to motivate, inspire, and connect with people of all career choices; especially the hair industry.  I just can’t leave my love for hair.”–JVH

Courtney Davis Walker, a former financial analyst, who’s desire for hairstyling since the tender age of 15, lead her to take a different path to becoming an educator with Farouk Systems Inc.

Originally from Atlanta, GA, raised in Ellenwood, GA, she began her pursuit by enrolling in her high school work-based learning program where she attended classes in the morning and worked in a salon in the afternoons.

Courtney proceeded to college, earning a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Alabama A&M University and a Master of Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management. However, her love for hair did not waiver. She later attended Atlanta Area Technical School, where she obtained a diploma in Cosmetology with a Master Cosmetologist certification and a Certified Master Cosmetology Instructor.

Courtney joined the Farouk Family in 2007. She began as a teammate educator under the tutelage of DeeDee Pierrin, where she was promoted to a Certified Specialist educator in just six months. In 2015, Courtney became a Certified Master Specialist tech artist. She is known for her short iconic styles, blazing coloring techniques and helping her clients to rock their styles with a classic and sophisticated look.

Outside of Farouk, Courtney teaches Cosmetology for Dekalb County Schools in Atlanta, Ga. She is currently the owner of So Couture Hair Extensions, while still serving clients in a boutique salon studio setting.
