SPHERE COLOR

STEP 1

Create a middle part, from the fringe to apex and use Formula 1 at the roots.

STEP 2

Start 1 inch away from the middle part, taking diagonal forward sub-sections. Use the slicing technique with a foil to apply Formula 2.

STEP 3

Use Formula 3 on the sub-sections in between the foils. Then repeat step 2 and 3 around the perimeter, using Formula 1 and 3.

STEP 4

Place a hairclip at the fringe to avoid staining the face. Do not place foils on the middle parting.

SPHERE CUT

Sectioning - Create 5 sections throughout the head; a triangle from the apex to the temples, a section across the nape, a section above the occipital bone to the middle of the crown and secure the last two sections on each side of the head.

STEP 1 -

Starting at the front of the head, create a small triangle section from the fringe to the apex. Comb the hair into its natural fall and distribute evenly. Point cut the fringe section to the middle of the nose to create a guideline.

STEP 2 -

Create a thin parallel sub-section on both sides of the fringe triangle. Then distribute the hair perpendicular to the left triangle parting. Use the point cutting technique to connect the guideline length.

STEP 3 -

Repeat step 2 on the right side of the triangle, overlapping the subsections with the fringe guideline.

STEP 4 -

Continue steps 2 and 3 throughout the entire fringe section.

STEP 5 -

Using a small sub-section from the crown area project the entire back section horizontal, find your guideline, loosen the tension and point cut.

STEP 1 -

Apply CHI Silk Infusion throughout the hair.

STEP 2 -

Spray a light amount of CHI Enviro Firm Hold Hairspray to the hair to lock in the moisture.

STEP 3 -

Use the 1 ¼ Dura CHI Curling Iron, overdirect the hair away from the face when curling. Hold the curl in place, pin at the base, allow to set. This will add maximum volume to the style.

STEP 4 -

After the hair has cooled, remove the clips and use the CHI Nano Dryer to soften the curl texture.
